How to delete your Twila account
- Open the Twila app
- Tap your profile picture (top left) to open Settings
- Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete Account"
- Confirm deletion in the prompt
Your account will be deleted immediately. This action cannot be undone.
Note: You cannot delete your account while you have active, pending, or unsettled bookings. Please wait for all bookings to be completed and payments to be finalized before requesting deletion.
Data that is deleted immediately
- Your profile information (name, email, date of birth, bio, profile photo)
- All booking history and associated messages
- Reviews and ratings
- Saved content and credit balance
- Subscription records
- Push notification tokens
- For photographers: portfolio, calendar availability, and payout ledger
Data retained after deletion
- Photos stored in our cloud (up to 90 days): Uploaded images are removed during our regular cleanup cycle. They are not publicly accessible after account deletion.
- Payment processor records (Stripe): Stripe retains transaction history and tokenized payment method data as required for financial compliance and dispute resolution. You may contact Stripe directly to request deletion of your Stripe data.
